I tried. I really did But body neutrality just isn’t for me I’ve watched powerful womxn speak on disassociating their feelings from their bodies / body image and it just didn’t seem natural for me I always have and probably always will care deeply about my body. That includes the way it looks - even though through recovery and especially as a new mom I know it’s not my definition or a determining factor of my worth, happiness or success Maybe it’s because I believe all bodies are art, or that I’ve been through so much that I just have this deep appreciation and love that I wouldn’t want to not feel What about you, have you tried body neutrality? Does that idea connect with you? No matter where you are in your journey with self, if you haven’t decided what your foundation of self worth is - there’s no better time than right now So if you’re still reading this… what Important / special / loved qualities are the building blocks of who you are? ✨How to build happy habits in 2022✨ad ☁️ Track your sleep, are you getting 6-10 hours? Note down how you feel the more or less sleep you get and figure out what works for you 🧘🏼‍♀️Take a moment in the morning to journal, give yourself positive affirmations or meditate. This dedication to self will help you take on all the day may throw at you 🫐 Nourish your body. I’ve dreamt of this moment for 8 years… the first line of the letter said “Welcome to the United States” tears streamed down my face and I ran into Philip’s arms The relief, the joy, the sense of gratitude that 18years of modelling brought me to this exact moment Years of manifesting my modelling career and my brands @selffundingplanner @saltair Manifesting the love of my life, and our little family - from a small town called Kidderminster in the middle of England, it all actually happened This greencard means I get to stay here with my family, that I can now start working towards citizenship because this is my home, with my two boys Thank you @philippayne for supporting me every step of the way and to my parents for letting (their only child) move to the US to chase her dreams I understand my privilege being able to afford and have access to residency so I’ve donated to @raicestexas a nonprofit that promotes justice by providing free and low-cost legal services to underserved immigrant children, families, and refugees in the hopes that I can help someone who truly needs it to find a home here too This holiday I’m more grateful than ever for my family, I hope no matter where you are or who you may or may not be with that you know you’re loved and I’m grateful for you too ❤️
