class="content__text" One solid weekend with these babies before Singapore next weekend. There are flowers blooming all around our garden and spring is very much round the corner. Actually now that I’ve said that, it’ll probably freeze over next week😂

class="content__text" We Singaporeans have been talking about improving the lives of lower-wage workers for a while and it’s now time to walk the talk. Enter the brilliant initiative from Ministry of Manpower - PW Mark (or the Progressive Wage Mark). Remember that ok? “PW Mark”. The PW Mark is an accreditation scheme that recognises eligible firms that pay progressive wages to lower-wage workers. There’s already a Progressive Wage Model (PWM), essentially a framework that increases wages of workers in various sectors like cleaning and security, provides clear career pathways for wages to rise with training, and improves productivity. The PW Mark is the official accreditation that companies get IF they pay their workers Progressive Wages and at least the Local Qualifying Salary. It can get technical for companies but all you need to know is that if a company is accredited with the PW Mark, it means they are taking action to treat lower-wage workers better and with respect, even if it means paying them more. Some of those costs may be passed down to us, the consumers, so this is the time for all of us to literally put our money where our mouths are. Let’s actively support companies with the PW Mark accreditation because we care and we don’t want to leave anyone behind. (Some of these lower-wage workers might even be friends or family!) class="content__text" Scaffolding up as we’re getting solar panels installed. Another “playground” for the kiddos. Perfect for Aly to practice “parkour”. Can’t take the high electricity bills anymore. You’d be shocked to know just how much our bills are. 😅 But oh well, that’s life. Can’t wait to harness the sun’s energy soon and teach the kids about sustainability. Can I just say that living sustainably is bloody expensive? The irony isn’t lost on me.

class="content__text" I knew you were the one I wanted to do life with from as early as our 3rd date…yeah the one where I tripped rather unglamorously… not to be mixed up w the 4th date where I threw up rather unglamorously after downing just one cocktail. Happy Valentine’s baby. I love you. Always and ? ❤️ @ethicsinsight

class="content__text" Posted this in stories yesterday and some of you asked for the recipe. Easiest zucchini muffin recipe ever. Just mix it all together in a large bowl, dispense into the muffin cups and pop them in the oven. Here you go! 2 large eggs, whisked 1 cup sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 3 cups (360g) packed grated zucchini. If zucchini is really dry, add 1/4 cup milk 1/2 cup olive oil (Or 3/4 cup melted butter) 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon cinnamon, optional. I usually just sprinkle some as I don't want it too "spicy" 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup walnuts, optional Bake them in the preheated oven at 175°C for 25-30 min (till golden brown). We slather salted butter on them while they’re still warm. 🤪

class="content__text" Most unglam photo EVER (face a little swollen from the local anesthetic injection) but since many of you have asked for before/after photos, this picture taken at the last threadlift treatment with @dr.isaac.wong from @the.artisan.clinic might help. In it, he has applied the threads on one side of my face. If you look closely, especially at the outer corners of my eyes and mouth, you’d see the subtle yet crucial difference between both halves of my face. The “freshening” of the side done is super natural. Threadlift is lifting of the face without placing volume and I like the natural result , because I don’t want to look too puffy or overfilled . For Threadlifts and fillers (like Ellanse), I only put my trust in highly skilled doctors like him - (He’s the Sinclair College @sinclair.college appointed international trainer for both) The treatments involve some injections but his skills and aesthetic eye means I step out of treatments looking younger but natural, and with less downtime. It’s really difficult to score an appt with Dr. Wong so please book him asap if you want to look FRESHER and younger! (Many of you have seen him and have only good things to say!)

class="content__text" My Christmas gift for the husband was a calculative sneaky move on my part because I can use it too. That’s why I’ve asked for an outdoor BBQ grill for my birthday. Have to be fair right?😂

class="content__text" Crisp and sunny winter days are best spent having coffee+cake and window shopping. They say the hardest part about relocating is making new friends. I say that’s actually the most fun bit.🥰

class="content__text" Pepper (or capsicum) seeds planted. Took advantage of his slightly obsessive nature and assigned him Seed Planter of the house. He had to do it from scratch - Scrape the seeds out, dry them, and finally plant them in soil. All done meticulously! 👍🏼
