class="content__text" Dearest son, my youngest and final baby, today you start school tomorrow, after a picnic at your new kindy this morning. Your father and I have taken you this far with the privilege of never needing daycare or kinda, without any painful goodbyes or struggles to fit you in with work, you have just come with us everywhere. And they have been the best years of our lives. But you are ready, that makes us ready and you have earned this backpack. From the minute you were old enough to sneak a back pack on and try to camouflage into your pack of siblings as they left for school you would. Only to be plucked out and pulled back by your mummas arm. We call you Raji Roo because you bounce around all day. The fearless Raji Roo, youngest of a huge family who gets away with murder, jumps off the rocks knowing you’ll land in a sea of siblings all convincing you that you just flew. The world is a beautiful adventure for you, the member of the pack who lives on everyone’s shoulders while his back is constantly watched. The teacher asked me about you, “has he ever been away from you before?” Of course, you have been away from me. But you always have at least one of your siblings around. Today however, that bounce in your step came to a holt, your eyes grew wider as you peered out of my shadow at the classroom you will be entering without one single member of your pack. Today that bouncing baby Roo crawled back into the safety of his mammas pouch, where every night you sleep, curled up into my tummy. Waiting with trepidation for tomorrow morning. And as I gently nudge you into unknown, clung on to that backpack.. just remember.. That every great adventure starts with one step into the unknown. And however old or wherever you may be when you one day come across this post, I want it to remind you that you are, The ever so brave Raji Roo and wherever you go, when you can and when you can’t see your pack, we are all right here, catching you, throwing you on our shoulders, telling you that you are flying. You will fly tomorrow Raja, it’s my turn to share you with the world. 🌻

Standard fit, I am in a 14 in the photoshoot an 18 in my lounge room for a slouchier look. Kyra is a size 8 and she is wearing a size 8. The Skirt. Maxi, specifically designed with a v at the waist for extra shape and that vintage look. Buttons all the way down. Pockets included 😉 The dress… Cut with a beautiful rounded panel at the waist that either accentuates your beautiful curves or give an illusion that you have them 💅🏼, it’s fitted but not tight, has a zip up the back and a tie option at the back to cover any exposed bra straps, a little higher cut at the chest then I usually made but holds in the boobs perfectly. class="content__text" Again I’m reading headlines about a man with a “no filter” podcast who claims he would leave his wife if she “let herself go” after childbirth. Id like to introduce this podcaster to the crazy concept of love. True love, the kind of love that the only reason you would leave is if you believe they will be better, happier, live a more enriched life without you. The day I met my lover he was a long haired tattooed surfer, the sexiest man I’d met, I fell in love with him. The day I married him I was beautiful, everything he dreamed of and he loved me. A year later I would lie in bed, covered in baby. Vomit and breast milk, painfully lifting my hips so he could change my bloody maternity undies and check on my weeping C section scar while on the phone to my doctor.. and he loved me. 2 years after that while my lover was in a coma with a metal rod drilled into his skull, I pushed aside the tears and allowed the nurses to show me how to change his nappy. I loved him. And I look back at videos of his vacant post coma face with shock, because in my memory, when I was there, all I saw was beautiful him, as I dragged him back to reality. I loved him. And today, we laugh through weight gain and bald patches, these things couldn’t come close to making either of us want to sacrifice this beautiful mess of a relationship. I have been so blessed in this life. Because the idea of spending it with someone that I could leave because of some weight or any other physical change that we will all no doubt experience, makes me feel very lonely and sad. I hope your wife does let her self go. Let go of the pressure of knowing that on top of all the stressful things that happen in life and parenthood, her biggest critic is lying where her biggest fan is supposed to be. And I mean it when I say, I do hope you get to experience the incredible joy that loving and being loved can bring you one day. I just really hope that in the meantime you shut the fuck up and leave your wife’s body out of your own insecurities.

Of course being the middle of summer I hadn’t packed any of my Royal Rogues and I had to rummage around for a different brand. It’s been a while since I’ve worn clothes that weren’t specifically designed for my body yet despite feeling a massive appreciation for the label that your purchases have allowed me to continue to design… I feel like I’m doing ok, I mean if I wasn’t me- I’d probably do me 🤷🏽‍♀️

class="content__text" Our boy Zeyke turned 18 today. He was 11 when he came into my life. Denz, Zeykes mum and his grandparents had done such an incredible job that step parenting him has been the most Natural and easy role I’ve ever had the honour of taking. Zeykes the cool, brave skater who’s known for his impossible tricks in the skate bowl that will make your eyes pop out of your head. But those who really know him know that he has a kindness I can’t put to words, a gentleness with the younger children that makes them cry when he’s away and hassle him 24/7 when he’s home. He’s patient, he’s honest, he walks away from fights, he stands up for the girls. He’s super clean and organized and I’d trust him with my life. I can’t count the amount of times someone has met him and said to me, “there is something so special about that boy, I can’t quite explain it” Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be blessed with a boy like this, that’s what we are. Fucking blessed. ❤️ Today we celebrate with a group of the same boys he was friends with the day I met him, beautiful boys, with beautiful futures. I love you Zeyke, more then you will ever know 💜
