“I don’t think I’ve really ever done anything other than skate with people I love.” —Skater @tgip_ (Troy Gipson) ⁣ Troy grew up skating every day with friends at his local skate park in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood. “I honestly was just having fun filming and skating. I think a lot of my skating just comes from what feels right in the moment, and trying to see how you can approach different tricks and spots in weird ways.” ⁣ ⁣ Now based in New York City, Troy continues to skate every day with other riders on @itsviolet (Violet), a team founded by cult skate filmmaker William Strobeck. “I couldn’t be more stoked to ride for Violet.
