It is super gratifying because those moments stemmed from being uniquely me.” —Artist, creative director and model @blkkstar (Ryann Canady), also known as KK ⁣ ⁣ Radically transforming themself from project to project, Ryann’s creativity has no boundaries. “It always starts within myself because every day I feel like a different person or version of me,” they say. “I try to identify who that could be and determine how I want to illustrate their story.” ⁣ ⁣ Ryann’s creative adventures have taken them to a shoot in the Moroccan desert, led them to moving across the world on a whim to study in Paris, and walking the runway at London Fashion Week. ⁣ ⁣ “All I hope is that my doing and creating can encourage somebody else to also embody the most authentic parts of them.
