class="content__text" Recently I had one of the most exciting days ever, at the Porsche Track Experience. In a nutshell this experience gives you the chance to drive almost all the cars in the Porsche range and see how they perform in different situations. Initially I thought it would just be a fun experience for Pia and I, but we actually learnt some incredible driving skills along the way especially regarding stopping safely in a short amount of time (we also got to compete in a timed Motorkhana which was wild!) In a world where cameras are getting more and more accurate and sharp, there’s just something about the Leica camera science that is beautifully old school. I don’t know if it’s the way it’s made, or if the lenses are purposefully not-perfect, but the overall vibe just captures the emotions of the moment exactly how I’d love them to be remembered. class="content__text" Rest in Peace dearest Muesli. Saying goodbye to you, our special furry baby has been the hardest moment of our lives. What we initially thought to be a tummy bug turned out to be the rapid decline of a tiny body struggling to stay alive. Everyday, she fought so hard to stay with us, holding our gaze for hours at a time as she lay still in our arms, as though she was trying to draw strength from us. We spent every second of her last 2 weeks with her, neither of us slept a wink, just to make sure she was comfortable, in case there was any chance of her making a recovery. In the last few mornings after her long deep sleeps, she would seem spritely, and surprise us with a few rounds of fetch outside, and sometimes even a bark or two. Her spirit was determined to make us smile, but we could see her growing weaker. In her last 48 hours, we could see the tiredness in her eyes. It was like she was telling us she was ready to start her walk over the Rainbow Bridge. She refused to eat, and sought more than the usual comfort from us in our arms. We took her to the vet for one of her many checkups, and as we were waiting for her blood results, her fragile body started to breakdown. She had decided it was time. There was nothing we could do to stop her from starting on her next adventure. We all laid on blankets so we could share one last moment together. She let out a sigh, and she closed her eyes. We will never forget you Muesli, you made us a little family, we were so fortunate to be able to share so many amazing adventures with you. Being able to spend nine years with you turned out to be the greatest gift of our lives. Run free without pain little one, and we will see you soon. Love, Mummy and Daddy.
