This one pot Rasam rice is everything you need for days when your legs weigh like lead and yet, you need to prep a meal. While I make this in the #instantpot, you can make this in the pressure cooker too. Cook for 3 to 4 whistles and allow pressure to release naturally. My blog has the same recipe but calls for toor dal instead of Masoor. Both dals are great in this recipe. Please Google TOMATO BLUES RASAM RICE to read about all the tips, tricks and variations possible for this recipe. Here is what you need-

Ingredients
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1 green chili slit
4 cloves garlic peeled
1/ 2cup Masoor dal
1/2 cup Brown rice

☑️ Soaking is key to getting everything perfectly cooked. So, don't skip the soaking part.
☑️ Adjust the consistency by adding hot water. Cold water makes it lumpy.
