Baltimore police murdered him while pursuing an alleged bench warrant. Many news outlets are referring to Donnell as an 18 year-old man as if he still wasn’t a child when his life was taken. This country’s perception of Black boys automatically being seen as men because Black means “dangerous”is killing our children. We have seen this with Tamir Rice, Ma’Khia Bryant and now Donnell Rochester.
