A man dressed as Mahatma Gandhi, out on the streets after attending the Independence Day event in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. ‘Nation First, Always First’ is the theme of India’s 75th Independence Day celebrations at the Red Fort from where Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation. For the first time ever, flower petals were showered as the National Flag was hoisted by the Prime Minister by two Mi 17 1V helicopters of the IAF in Amrut Formation. Similar to last year, the celebrations were subdued with fewer people invited to attend the event.
