class="content__text" A first look at what’s to come at TEFAF Maastricht this March, from @BlumkaGallery. A terracotta sculpture of “Lucca Madonna and Child” attributed to Baccio da Montelupo, one of the leading figures of the Florentine Renaissance. He began his career in the late 15th century in Florence. His definitive establishment in the city of the Medici happened in the early 16th century, marked by his relationship with some of the leading masters of the time such as the Della Robbia. The terracotta sculpture is an example of the early 16th-century artistic production and commission mechanisms between artists and patronage.
