Went to play for the troops in Afghanistan, crazy life experience 7. Foy making homemade pasta for me, shortly after us both writing The Hills of Aberfeldy in 2012 8. Me and @jmd_snowpatrol having a welcome break from writing multiply, we lived between Nashville and LA and ate a lot of pot noodles 9. Me and @dansmyers in my Nashville living days, 2013. Played Taiwan last night, went to Grammys tonight, good to be back. Congrats on all winners and nominees, back on the road from tomorrow see ya in Bangkok x - oh and thanks @stellamccartney for the threads !

Hid envelopes all around Kaohsiung and left clues for fans to win a lunch with me. Never done this before but it was super fun, and great to meet some of the Taiwanese fan base. Lemme know in comments ideas for Bangkok !

It’s been a while since I’ve played in Taiwan, and I always am so surprised so many people so far from the place I was born and raised know these songs. I really won’t ever take it for granted, I feel very honoured to be on this tour and bringing it to so many cities all over the world.
