class="content__text" Get your Matcha fix at Tea and the gang 💚 We source our Ceremonial Grade Matcha from 10 small holder factories in Shizuoka, Japan. Tencha (the style of leaf) used to make the Matcha is shaded with covers for 3 – 4 weeks before plucking. This process slows down the growth of the tea leaves and also concentrates the chlorophyll in the tea leaves which gives it the vibrant green colour. The leaves are then milled using ceramic mill stones to achieve a fine powder.
