class="content__text" Team brownie or cookie? ❤️ We’re celebrating our pals on this beautiful day by making this mouthwatering skillet cookie - with warm peanut butter and gooey chocolate centre. Perfect for sharing straight from the pan and cosying up with your favourite people (yourself included) any day of the year! - Skillet peanut butter brookie (Brownie cookie) - Ingredients; 110g Unsalted butter 130g Brown sugar ½ Cup Pic’s Crunchy Peanut Butter @picspeanutbutter 1 Egg 150g Plain Flour ½ Tsp salt ½ Tsp baking powder ¼ Tsp Bicarbonate of soda 170g Choc chips - Method; 1. Melt the butter in the microwave, add brown sugar and whisk well to combine. 2. Once cooled add Pic’s Peanut Butter (I prefer crunchy as it adds a nice texture) and an egg, whisk well to combine. 3. Add the flour, salt, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and chopped choc chips into the bowl and fold through until all the flour is well mixed and no streaks are left. 4. Spoon the mixture into a 25cm skillet and bake for 14 minutes at 180°C. 5. Yesterday we were absolutely chuffed to welcome Smunchy Peanut Butter as a permanent, core member of the Pic's family here in New Zealand ❤️ No this wasn't the plan. In fact, when we first got a letter from 10-year-old Maggie demanding that we make this product, the plan was to release a super limited-edition jar raising funds for @kidscannz, available online and here at Peanut Butter World. But lo-and-behold, you guys loved Smunchy so much that the supermarkets came knocking! So here we are, and here YOU are - finally able to catch this nuttiness in all supermarkets across Aotearoa New Zealand, for good. We hope it brings you joy! Love, Pic's 🥜

class="content__text" Celebrating FRIDAY with this sweet and salty slice by our fave bilingual chef @whanaukai 💃 check out this goodness, and learn a bit of te reo Māori while you’re at it! - Caramel and Almond Butter Slice - TE PAPARANGA PATA - The Buttery Layer Ingredients: 100g pata kūteretere (softened butter) 1/3 cup pata aramona (Pic’s Double Crunch Almond Butter) 2/3 cup huka one (caster sugar) 1 Tbsp wanira (vanilla) 1 cup puehu parāoa (flour, plain) 1/2 tsp pēkana paura (baking powder) 70g tiakarete parauri kua tapahia (dark chocolate, chopped) 1/2 cup aramona (almonds, blanched) Method: 1. Add the pata kūteretere, pata aramona, huka one and wanira to a large bowl. Whip on high for 8 minutes until fluffy. 2. Add puehu parāoa and pēkana paura. Mix together by hand. 3. Reserve 1/3 cup of the mixture. Spread the rest in a 20cm x 20cm high sided tray lined with baking paper. 4. Bake for 15 minutes at 165°C. Cool. 5. Combine the tiakarete parauri with the reserved mixture. Slice the aramona in half and leave to the side. You’ll use this goodness to decorate at the end! - TE KARAMEA HĀHĀ - THE LUSCIOUS CARAMEL Ingredients: Kia kotahi kēna miraka ngako (1 can condensed milk) 1/4 cup mīere koura (golden syrup) 45g pata (butter) 5g tote (rock salt) Method: 1. Add miraka ngako, mīere koura, pata and tote in to a pot. Whakawerahia - heat it up. Do this on low heat until everything is melted. 2. Pour this mixture onto your buttery layer base and spread evenly. 3. Sprinkle your reserved chocolate mixture from the previous step. Poke the chopped almonds on top. 4. Bake for 25 minutes in a 160 degree oven until golden. class="content__text" Ahhh yes, the quintessential choc pop… but HEALTHY 🥜 @reneeedwardsphotographer threw this goodness together for her daughter who just LOVES ice blocks. Do you have a special someone in mind for this quick and easy summer treat?! - Peanut Butter and Chocolate Pops - Ingredients - I cup Pic’s Smooth Peanut Butter ½ cup unsweetened Greek yoghurt ¾ cup milk 1 tsp sugar (optional) 1 cup roughly chopped chocolate salted peanuts, chopped - Method - 1. Whisk together peanut butter, yoghurt, milk and sugar (if using) until combined. Pour into popsicle moults, add sticks and freeze overnight. 2. Before serving, place chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan with simmering water in the bottom. Warm chocolate until fully melted and smooth. 3. Remove popsicles from moulds, dip into the chocolate, then sprinkle with chopped peanuts. Enjoy! ❤️
