class="content__text" In 1998, Santiago de Chile hosted the Summit of the Americas, with presidents from the entire continent gathering in the Teatro Municipal. After one of the summit sessions, all the presidents hopped into their limousines and left for their hotels. Except Bill Clinton, the former president of the United States. Out of the blue, he walked into a small random restaurant (with hordes of reporters and security guards behind him) and ordered a diet coke. He signed autographs, finished his coke and left. He didn’t leave a tip. The small restaurant immediately changed its name to La Pica de Clinton, re-designed its interior with faces of Bill Clinton and even put several ‘Bill Clinton dishes’ in their menu. I had a Bill Clinton churrasco. It was awful. I left a tip, because the coke was fine. #my #type #of #tourism #Chile
