"The grounds of arrest have not been furnished but it has to do with a protest involving workers of the Municipality of Windhoek who are on strike for better working conditions. Our lawyers will be helping," said Amoomo.

class="content__text" Convicted… Russian national Alexander Krylov was today convicted on 10 counts of rape and 10 counts of trafficking in persons plus supplying cigarettes to children under 18. His co-accused Anna Engelbrecht was convicted on three counts of rape and trafficking. The case was remanded to 22 February 2023 for pre-sentencing procedures.
