To witness Mollie as a mom, growing and caring for this family we've bulit, is by far the greatest joy of my life. So grateful for the best adventure ever and looking forward to what's to come. Being a mom is uniquely the toughest job. Respect and gratitude to Mollie and all the moms who make the world go round. Since 2002 we've traveled near and far seeking the finest powder, best light, steepest faces, most walled couloirs, deep spines and grand adventure. While he's recently been known for his ski mountaineering for @the.fifty.project , during powder days he's still like the excited freeeskiing kid I met at 18. Now we both juggle our young families while maintaining the pursuit, no small task, but this is the way. class="content__text" This year I’m honored and proud to sponsor the 17th annual Winter Speaker Series, presented by @tahoemtnrealty (my newest professional adventure). which kicks off tonight with @jeremyjones . I’ve known Brendan Madigan @arunningfox since (maybe 2003) before he took over Alpenglow Sports. We’ve suffered and summited peaks together and celebrated many aspects of life over the years. It’s been incredible to see Brendan excel as a business owner that exists for his community. His efforts have created a space for the community to not only gather and experience what makes the Tahoe-Truckee region amazing, but allows us all to support our friends and neighbors. Safe to say events like the Winter Speaker Series and the world class speakers it has attracted have changed my life. The five-show series runs from November through February at Olympic Village Events Center at @palisadestahoe and is entirely FREE. For those who cannot make the shows in person, we will continue to present the series in a virtual capacity on Alpenglow’s YouTube channel. Doors open at 6pm and the show will begin shortly after 7pm. For our kick-off tonight, @mogrog_rotisserie will be giving out free dinner, while supplies last.
