class="content__text" Happy Mother’s Day, mamas! 🌸 I have the incredible responsibility and privilege of raising these girls to hopefully be mothers themselves someday. My prayer is that I will be able to pass along what I have learned from the moms in my life : • My mom has taught me heart-centered SERVICE. She will drop anything to be at me and my family’s side, and does it without an ounce of complaint but rather, joy and deep love. When I find myself impatient and acting selfish, I buck up and conjure up my mom’s heart. I also think the girls like her food more than mine, so thanks for always feeding them Mom 😂 • My mother-in-law has taught me STRENGTH. As a single mom who raised two incredible, smart humans on her own - all while teaching the kids in her classroom - I hope to instill the same resilience, independence, and commitment to growth and learning that has guided her. She also always brings fun games for the girls and good conversations to the table. Love you, Nancy 💕 • My grandmothers have taught me CREATIVITY, beauty, self care (back when self care was not a thing) perseverance, and making a house a home. One turned 90 this year (love you, Nana! Yes, she’s on Instagram!) and I’m certain she has many more years still ahead. My other grandma watches over us from above, and I know she has sprinkled down her grace and elegance onto these girls 🥰 • Sending my love to all the moms today!
