class="content__text"Big thanks again to @lego for sending me the Concorde set to allow me to have some fun with replicating the photo of the aircraft from over the summer. First time attempting a hyperlapse of a Lego set this large but it was a lot of fun! The model totals 2083 pieces and is 41.5 inches in length. Landing gear goes in and out by a technic function through the model that you can control by turning the tail section. It is a great set for anyone who is a fan of aviation so make sure to check it out! class="content__text"Back on August 9th the Concorde Supersonic Jet that has been on display at the @intrepidmuseum was relocated and transported by barge to the Brooklyn Navy Yard to undergo restoration. As it sailed down the Hudson around Lower Manhattan and up the East River I was able to get a photograph of it as it passed under the Brooklyn Bridge and thanks to social media it was seen and shared in so many ways so I thank everyone for that. The same day the aircraft was moved @lego announced a Concorde set and after taking this photo and being such a fan of Lego I decided to reach out and see if they would like to help me recreate the photo I took but this time with the Lego version of the aircraft! I received a response back that they thought it sounded like a great idea and sent me the set to build and go recreate my image under the Brooklyn Bridge. The model certainly drew a lot of attention as I walked around @brooklynbridgepark with it because of it's size and easily recognized for what it is. To get the image I had to have the aircraft sit on a railing under the bridge so while it's not exact to the original photo it certainly captures the moment for sure.
