My piece is at @thefrankpembrokepines of Silent Narrator / Curious Spectator curated by @nomadartprojects ❤️🙏🏻 The artworks in this exhibition observe the passing of time and the seemingly passive observation of life events in a state of invisibility, inviting to inner reflection and memory recollection. The transient nature and impermanence of the present is reflected in the delicate nature of the materials in this exhibition, such as printed silk, organza, rice paper, and sculptures made of weaved rope hanging from the ceiling. Some artworks commemorate ancestors with sculptures in terracotta and through the weaving of ropes, connecting the past with this instant. Lo que tienes y amas lo que construyes desde la sabiduría de romper barreras y crear tu propia historia. Que agradeces cada momento vivido tanto lo bueno, como lo malo. Pasaron 42 años creando una conexión única de abuela y nieta inseparable ni el tiempo desvanecerá ese hilo conector que todavía nos une a pesar de que físicamente ya no estás sigues a mi lado escucho tu voz consolándome en los momentos de tristeza por tu pérdida. Hoy hace un año partistes y no existe un día que no te llore, han sido tiempos difíciles emocionalmente sin ti cada vez que te lloro escucho tu voz “ya mija no lloreis mas mi cielo yo estoy bien” es que las partidas de gente como vos es muy dolorosa Yiya. Desde donde estás ahora tu iluminas el camino para que pueda lograr muchas cosas y que siempre estés orgullosa de mi no solo por mis logros profesionales, sino también la conexión que tengo con mis hijos te veía feliz viéndome en nuestro último viaje juntas el amor que le daba a mi familia te fuistes contenta disfrutando de Juli, Juan y Fausto que te amaron con locura.
