TODAY ONLY - LAST CHANCE TO BUY A PRINT BEFORE I CLOSE SHOP! Big career change announcement! _ Starting tomorrow I will stop selling open edition prints for an undefined period for time. Today is the last day one can order a print at a starting price under 70€! As of tomorrow, all prints will be removed from my website and it will no longer be possible to order one. Next autumn, I will release a new collection of SIGNED + LIMITED EDITION PRINTS (of 7 copies) at a much higher price, starting from 500€. If you’d like to get a print of my work on your wall for a reasonable price, today is the last day ever to order one. Recently, I've been contacted by an art gallery, and we are in the process of seeing if eventually I could be represented by them. Whatever the final outcome, it also made me think about the notion of art and the value I want to give to my future work. I want to step up my game :) What is an open edition? It's a photo print, which legally and fiscally speaking, can't be considered as art, because it's neither signed nor it is limited to maximum 30 copies. However, all the photos that I've sold on my website until now can be printed in an infinite number of copies. Moreover they're not signed. The reason why I offered this option was precisely to allow everyone to be able to afford one of my photos (an open edition is necessarily much cheaper than a signed + limited edition, which are more rare). I realize that from now on my photos will be accessible to less people. But at almost 34 years old, I want to position myself as a true artist photographer, and step away from that 'Instagrammer' label which is too pejorative in the industry. That said, I want to give a last chance to all those who love my art, who have always wanted to buy a print but never took the plunge. You only have today to order your favorite photo from my website, in an open edition, before they never get available again starting tomorrow.
