🇺🇸 DID YOU MISS THE NEWS?
The last month has been my most productive yet since Peaks of Europe in 2017.

Geez, I don’t even know where to start…

OK, so let’s go back to last year, when the pandemic hit the world.

I was just returning from an assignment for MSF in Haiti - which still remains my last travel assignment to date actually - and I was kind of happy with the whole lockdown situation that allowed me to breathe and take more time for myself, more time to just do nothing (and play the PS4 I had just bought), after a few years of never taking it easy.

Quite soon though, I realised it was time to take advantage of all that free time. I invested a lot in myself, trained by following online courses in multiple fiels, read a lot and educated myself photography culture, and I started to think about new projects and ideas, most of them on how I could share my knowledge and 10 years of experience in photography with people who have the same interests than me.

My love for podcasts and YouTube was growing, just as it was for education.

After months of thinking, planning, designing ideas, I decided March 2021 was going to be the month I would finally go live with all my projects.

First, on World Book Day (March 4) I launched a new Instagram account dedicated to my love for photo books and magazines : @photobookjunkie
Every day on there I share a new book that I cherish, as I’m trying to show the new generation of photographers that there’s no better way to learn photography and work on your style than by reading books and stepping away from Instagram from time to time.

A couple of days later, I thought it would be interesting to see how this new app ClubHouse is working, so I created the club for Frenchspeaking Photographers, on which I host 3 rooms a week about photography. A month later, the club has already 700+ members and followers.

Mid-March, I finally did something I had in mind for years, literally ! I launched my YouTube channel, 100% dedicated to photography culture and the job of being a photographer. Today I’ve released the 3rd video, and I think I’m going to stick to a minimum of 1 video every couple of weeks.
