In one the last scenes of my favorite show The Office, Ed Helms who plays Andy Bernard AKA The Nard-Dog, said ““I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days before you've actually left them.” It is one of my favorite quotes and a reminder to be more present, which is one of my main goals for 2022, to be more present with the people I love and care about, because I realize that when I am fully present I am fully at peace, I sleep knowing I gave everything to the people and things that matter most. To me that’s the life I want to live, that when all is said I done I lived with all my heart and the people that matter most to me knew that inshAllah.
