class="content__text" RIP Judy Heumann -- an internationally recognized leader in the disability community. Heumann was a lifelong civil rights advocate for people with disabilities. Working for disability representation in Hollywood via @disabilityfilmchallenge has taught me so much about seeing the world through varied lenses and how much there is to gain from amplifying the voices of this underrepresented community. So glad my friend @sianheder will be telling her story on screen.

class="content__text" 14.5 years ago my then 1 year old came home from daycare and declared that she had a best friend. That friendship has endured and has become a huge part of all of our lives. Faye you are (and always have been) a fantastic human. Capable beyond your years, intelligent, beautiful inside and out. Your family is our family. From Los Angeles to Mexico to Maine to Georgia, from dinners to movie premieres, to family camping trips, to cousin dogs. Thank you for being a bestie to my eldest, a big sister to my littles and one of my favorite people ever. I’m so glad you are 16 today! I can’t wait to see you conquer the world! (Please note: I didn’t post recent pics because…duh… you are teens now and I would have to go through an extensive approval process).
