class="content__text" So here's the goss: it is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to announce GOSSIP GIRL will not be continuing on HBO Max. The EPs and I will forever be grateful to the network and studio for their faith and support; the writers for their devious brains and dexterous talent; the superstar cast for being the greatest of collaborators and friends; and the crew for their hard work, dedication and love for the project. This was honestly the greatest set I ever worked on, top to bottom. We are currently looking for another home, but in this climate, that might prove an uphill bottle, and so if this is the end, at least we went out on the highest of highs. Thank you for watching, and I hope you'll tune into the finale next Thursday to see how it all comes together. xoxo ps. A big thank you to all the GG fans around the world. You’re the reason we came back in the first place, and who knows, maybe the reason we will meet again. Much love.

class="content__text" This was my seventh season of @gossipgirl , and my eighth year working on the show. It is, as always, a joy to be able to continue this journey. My team of actors, crew and creatives this season were amongst the best I’ve ever known. We did some incredible things that most shows don’t ever get to do. Thank you to all who gave their hearts and their art, and to all who watch in return. Episodes 1&2, streaming tomorrow, directed by me. Xoxo

class="content__text" from rehearsal to reality: gossip girl, episode 7, directed by me, airing on Thanksgiving day, as it was meant to. So grateful to my 🔥 cast and crew for pulling off what we were told was impossible: 11.5 pages in one day, the mother of all dinner scenes. 🙏🙏🙏

class="content__text" Someone recently called me a “beautiful tornado,” and they meant it in both positive and pejorative ways. So I got this to remind me it’s okay to be who you are, both the positive and the negative. A tornado can leave damage in its wake, but it is also a force of nature, and as @fergyevers reminded me, there is calm at the center. Gonna look at this the rest of my life and find new meaning in it. Just like the rest of my life. Xoxo, S1. Whatever could be next!
