class="content__text" Very excited for my buddy @reecelightning91 who has been given the call up to fight in Colorado, USA on the 5th of May on the undercard or @mighty vs @moraesadrianomma . Reece is currently ranked number 4 in the fly weight ranking. He will be taking on Kairat Akhmetov from Kazakhstani who is number 2. Hopefully with a solid performance can get Reece one step closer to a title shot 🙏🏻🇦🇺!! See you soon @onechampionship ☺️!

class="content__text" With all the travelling the last few months it’s crazy to see airports and planes at capacity again. During Covid I was lucky to get exemptions to fly to Singapore. Crazy to think back then the airports were empty and I’d be pretty much the only passenger on the plane.

Now I’m retired happy to pass on my techniques to my students and seeing them used in the ring/cage. Watching @reecelightning91 land so many times made me very proud 🥹!

class="content__text" Just broke my personal record for travelling. In 13 days I’ve caught 6 different planes, flying for 42 hours. Was lucky to travel to Singapore, twice. While travelling to Perth & back in the middle. Flew to Singapore on the 4th of Feb to be a special guest coach on the @apprenticeone to take the contestants on a challenge. Just as we got mic'd up and cameras in place. It started to rain and filming was canceled for the day. I receive a phone call at midnight saying “filming is canceled tomorrow also. Be ready at 6am to go airport to fly Australia. Once I arrive back in Brisbane & walking to my car I receive a message saying “we still want to film your piece. Can you come back to Singapore next week” 😳. Fly to Perth Friday, UFC Sunday. Fly Brisbane Monday. Tuesday fly to Singapore again. Film Wednesday. Flew home Thursday morning. Both times in Singapore I was only on the ground 32 hours before flying home again. Only positive out of all the travelling was being able to sit business class on three of the four flights Singapore return. Thank you to @onechampionship and all the staff for some amazing memories.

Today we film, then home to Australia tomorrow. Busy schedule. But love the excitement of the adventure 🙏🏻.

Every time I boarded a plane I would walk past with envy people sitting up the front thinking how uncomfortable I’m about to be for next 6 to 12 hours. Today is one of those pinch yourself moments. I think I set a new PB for shaking so many peoples hands and taking selfies with so many people in one weekend. Thanks to everyone who came and said g’day making it a weekend to remember.
