I never thought I would do this traditional Korean tea ceremony in my life ๐Ÿซฃ (I even did not want to do the Chinese one in Singapore but fair-fair hahaha)
This ceremony is called โ€œpae-baekโ€ (ํŽ˜๋ฐฑ) where apart from serving tea to the elders and the younger generation serving tea to us, there is another tradition of eating traditional Korean snacks too ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿฅฐ

After which, the husbandโ€™s side family (father in law and mother in law) will throw dates and chestnuts onto a piece of traditional cloth and that represents the number of children the couple is going to have after marriageโ€ฆ (we got a whole lot ๐Ÿ˜‚ tho I tried to doge it)! It was a very cute and interesting experience, a tradition that has been disappearing in todayโ€™s time just like many others in the world. I believe though that this is what makes us who we are so in remembrance of the Korean ancestry and traditions, we decided to make a happy memory for our families out of it! โค๏ธ
