class="content__text" 🤭🤭🤭 내 인생에서 이런 전통 문화 하려 하는 생각도 못했어, 하지만 그때는 나의 인생에서 가장 멋진 순간 중 하나이다 🔥 I never thought I would do this traditional Korean tea ceremony in my life 🫣 (I even did not want to do the Chinese one in Singapore but fair-fair hahaha) This ceremony is called “pae-baek” (페백) where apart from serving tea to the elders and the younger generation serving tea to us, there is another tradition of eating traditional Korean snacks too 🇰🇷🥰 After which, the husband’s side family (father in law and mother in law) will throw dates and chestnuts onto a piece of traditional cloth and that represents the number of children the couple is going to have after marriage… (we got a whole lot 😂 tho I tried to doge it)! It was a very cute and interesting experience, a tradition that has been disappearing in today’s time just like many others in the world.
