class="content__text" A long term equity investor is advised to remember 15-15-15 rule of mutual funds that says that an investor can expect 15 per cent return on one's investment. 15-15-15 rule of mutual funds say that if a mutual fund SIP investor invests ₹15,000 per month for 15 years, then it may get ₹1 crore maturity amount at 15 per cent annual return on one's money. At the same time one can achieve its ₹1 crore target from stock market little earlier as well if they increase their monthly investment with increase in its income using annual step-up in monthly SIP amount. #kbc #amitabhbachchan #kaunbanegacrorepati #finance #investment #money #mutualfunds #money #reels #grow #passiveincome

class="content__text" Your elderly parents can also save you from paying a substantial amount in taxes each year. *A) Investing money in your parents name:* People aged 60 or older can claim up to Rs.50000 as tax-free interest earnings from bank FDs savings accounts, post office schemes or more. For everyone else, this limit is much lower at just Rs.10000 a year. The tax rate is also lower for senior citizen taxpayers, enabling them to bear limited taxes even if their income crosses this tax-free slab. B) *Claim HRA by paying rent to Parents* : Salaried individuals can reside at their parents’ house and pay rent to them to claim HRA benefits. In such a case, your parents can claim a 30% tax deduction on this annual rent receivable for maintenance and repairs, as per Section 24. For you HRA benefit will be equal to the least of these three provisions: 1) 40-50% of basic salary 2) Actual HRA offered by your employer 3)Actual rent paid after subtracting 10% basic salary. C) *Tax Deductions on Health Insurance Premiums :* If you are paying for a health insurance policy for your senior citizen parents, you can claim a tax discount of Rs.50000 per year. If your parents are younger than 60 years, the maximum permissible exemption is Rs.25000 a year. Both of these come under Section 80D. class="content__text" Some other benefits of RERA 1) Standardized carpet area- Earlier the carpet area on which the builder calculates the price of the property was not defined. Every builder/developer had his own method of calculation of the Carpet Area. Cost of Property = Carpet Area x Rate per sq. ft 2) Rate of interest on default - in case of default in payment by the buyer or default in completion of the project by the builder, the rate of interest to be paid shall be the same for both parties. 3) Reduces the Risk of Builder Insolvency/ Bankruptcy- A developer usually has several projects which are being constructed simultaneously. Earlier Builders were free to divert the funds raised from Project A to fund the construction of Project B. The builder is liable to deposit 70% of the amount realized for the project in a separate bank account. He can withdraw from such account only on the basis of completion of the project, which shall be certified by a civil engineer, architect, and chartered accountant in practice. 4) Right of the Buyer in case of False promises- In case there is a mismatch in the commitments made by the builder and the actual project, the buyer has the option to withdraw from the project, wherein he is entitled to a full refund of the amount paid as advance or otherwise along with interest and claim compensation. #realestate #building #property #finance #reelitfeelit #broker #realtor #home #homeowner #money #laws #personalfinance

class="content__text" Purchasing power parity (PPP) is an economic term that calculates the relative value of different currencies. When calculating GDP per capita, purchasing power parity gives a more accurate picture about a country's overall standard of living. It gives a meaningful comparison of prices across countries, a wide range of goods and services must be considered. PPP cannot be used to compare everything as the standard of living in each country is different. Exchange rate is different than PPP rate. Exchange rate changes on daily basis and is affected by demand and supply, whereas, PPP rate does not change easily and is based on weighted cost of lot of goods and commodities. #forex #usd #investing #exchangerate #investment #finance #moneymanagement #savemoney #investingforbeginners #finance #money

class="content__text" 1) Declining level of cash flow- Unless the company is expanding or investing a lot, declining cash flow is not good. 2) Related party transaction are never a good sign- If the company is moving money to different company of the same owner/promoter this can mean some fishy business is going on. 3) Accounts receiveable cannot grow faster than revenue forever- It means that more is going out (goods and services) than money coming in for the same. 4) Frequent changes in accounting policy- A simple policy change can bring a lot of difference in books of accounts, compare it with previous year’s statements. 5)CFOs and auditors leaving- If the company is facing a difficult time and the CFO and auditor are leaving it can be sign of something bad.
