class="content__text" Everyone has a story, here is a part of mine: One of the proudest moments of my life was when I honored my deceased husband's wishes, by deciding to continue the journey in this country raising my children here as I promised him. I met my husband in Brazil, in 2004 we got married and moved to San Diego, in 2005. We opened and operated one of San Diego’s finest barbecue restaurants. My husband passed away September 6, 2007, 16 years ago today, only 5 months after the birth of our daughter Angelina. Devastated I had to decide for the future of my family. Through prayer, I promised my husband that our children would be raised in the US. The reason for this message is to help other single mothers so that we can all get through life with faith & hard work. Many times close friends questioned how I did it, wondering why I chose to stay in this country with 2 young kids rather than going back to Brazil. I had to put my situation into perspective, I wasn’t the first nor last woman in this country to lose her husband at a young age, (24). By the same token, I’m not the only woman in this country who needs to be strong to raise my 2 kids alone. I only had two options, either feel sorry for myself and go back to Brazil, or stand strong and do what I have to do as a mother. I truly believe that God will never give someone more than they can handle, every challenging situation can be used to help shape you. Pain changes people and helps them grow!! I always look at the bright side of every situation. As I reflect, all I can think is how lucky I was to share my life with Jimmy Johnson. God gifted me with one of the best human beings in this world. Jimmy Johnson had an amazing soul, and a golden heart, getting married to him was one of the best moments of my life. 🤍👼🤍 RIP Mr. Johnson

These situations that have been presented to you are to make you realize that you deserve better and need to make changes in your life. The unhealthy people you surround yourself with need to be removed from your life. You can't always help everyone and that's ok. Focus on the important things, your family, your business, your healing and most important “Your mental health.” Remember everything is temporary but if you continue to do the same things, you will always get the same results. Cut the bad habits and the toxic people out of your life. You're a good person with a good heart but you can't save everyone. Give it to God .
