Oakie is sleeping in his own room, where did that time go!! 😮😭🦁💖 The transition to the cot as always been bittersweet for me, I love to see his independence grow and get a bit more space for myself but I also miss him and worry about him, which is natural. ✨ I’ve never used a baby monitor with the other two but now I regret it as the @cubobabymonitor has been so reassuring and made his transition simple and stress free- I know I can count on it day and night.  🙌🏻💕 This clever little device has an amazing quality camera, built in lullabies and white noise, provides sleep analytics and alerts for covered face and roll over detection (perfect for my little adventurer who always gets stuck 😂), crying, temperature and humidity. 👶🏼👶🏼👶🏼💕 It’s moved to the top of my baby essentials list and I definitely recommend for new families. Dear Oakie bear 👶🏼✨ As I watch you grow and as our family settles, I’m beginning to think it’s more likely than not that our family may be complete and it overwhelms me 🥺. Every time I pack away more tiny clothes that you’ve outgrown, my heart aches and the tears start to fall. Time is both a thief and a gift, stealing moments and creating memories faster than I ever could have imagined.✨ For every first could also be the last and my heart sinks as much as it bursts with every new milestone. I wonder if I’ve held you in my arms or breathed you in enough, for one day you’ll fit in my lap no more. 💕 As we’re writing the new chapters in our life and anticipating the adventures to come as a family of 5, I’m also frantically trying to recall the pages we’ve already written. My memories are already a beautiful and chaotic blur, I’ve been robbed by the sleep deprived haze of early parenthood. The words of our story are already scrambled and the pictures are already smudged in what feels like a millisecond has past. I may struggle to pinpoint the tiny details and they’ll continue to fade away. But, I’ll always remember the immeasurable love between us and that I was your world and you’ll always be mine.
