class="content__text" Post pilates smoothie bowl while Gracie naps ☺️ My go-to smoothie recipe at the moment is one that packs in the nutrients to keep me and baby satisfied 💪 The key to a good smoothie; protein, healthy fat, fibre & vegetables! I’m loving this green goodness smoothie 💚: 1 banana (or 1 frozen banana for thicker consistency) 1/2 small zucchini (peeled) 1 gold Kiwifruit 1 scoop of vanilla protein (pregnancy friendly) 1 large handful of baby spinach 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk 1 tbsp chia seeds Big handful of ice Blend these all together and top with your favourites (I used coconut, strawberries, chia seeds & banana) 😋 #smoothiebowl

class="content__text" 3 years ago today I played my first international hockey game after having my first baby Charlotte. She was only 12 months old at the time and it was one of the hardest but most rewarding things I’ve ever done in my life. I remember a friend shared this quote with me and I’ve never forgotten it to this day: “It’s not only children who grow. Parents do too. As much as we watch to see what our children do with their lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours. I can’t tell my children to reach for the sun. All I can do is reach for it, myself.” It gave me permission to follow my dreams too. I didn’t want to look back in years to come and think ‘what if’. Life is short. Take the risk, give it a shot and do your best. It’s never to late to start anything ☝️
