class="content__text" Around eight years ago I met @helgi66north He introduced me to his brand @66north that since 1926 have equipped fishermen and workers operating in the outdoors North Atlantic elements. When I later on visited The 66 HQ in Reykjavik and spent time both in the city and in the breathtaking countryside I witnessed firsthand how huge a deal 66 North was among the Icelanders. Everyone from the police force to paramedics, school teachers, toddlers on group trips and a large quantity of the general public was wearing 66 North’s sturdy and warm outerwear. I have never seen such a large percentage of a population being this dedicated and loyal to one brand. About a week ago I read on @highsnobiety that @toyoshimakei had been appointed 66 North’s new Creative Director. Following both 66 North’s development and Kei’s career these later years this is a collaboration I’m really excited to see the evolvement of.
