class="content__text" Top of the bottom of the world. On the 24th of December I was able to do my best running up and down Mount Vinson 4,892m/16.050ft the highest mountain in Antarctica continent. The freezing temperature and wind were the toughest challenges, having to find the balance between running in light gear and trying to stay warm and safe. I thought a lot about our mentor and captain @hilareenelson during my fast ascent (she inspired me) and felt super blessed to meet Sam, a super strong mountain guide who has been a runner in the past and guide on Vinson for over 15 seasons. He helped me during my project. I wasn't allowed to do it completely alone. The route is almost 40 km long, with some steep walls sections and 50-degree slopes. I managed to run in 6h40'19" uphill from Base Camp and 9h41'38" ascent + descent. The remote and clean environment in Vinson reminded me the space movie Gravity. A temperatura congelante e o vento foram os desafios mais difíceis, ter que encontrar o equilíbrio entre correr com roupas leves e me manter aquecida e segura. Pensei muito em nossa mentora e capitã @hilareenelson durante minha subida rápida (ela me inspirou) e me senti super abençoada por encontrar Sam, um guia de montanha super forte que foi corredor no passado e guia no Vinson por mais de 15 temporadas. Ele me ajudou durante o meu projeto. Não era permitido eu ir completamente sozinha. O percurso tem quase 40 km, alguns trechos de paredes íngremes e declives de 50 graus. Consegui subir em 6h40'19" e 9h41'38" subida + descida. O ambiente remoto e limpo em Vinson me lembrou o filme espacial Gravity.
