Turns out that Bill’s last job before he left Twizel in 1978 was to oversee the making and planting of 2 predator free islands in Lake Ruataniwha. This one was called Bradies Island at the time but neither of us know if that is still it’s name? He was thrilled to see how good it looks today with all the trees grown and showing off their Autumn colour. He sent me the nicest message thanking me and saying the print will soon have pride of place on display.
