class="content__text" On Thursday I had the pleasure of opening up the Kigali Summit on Malaria and Neglected Tropical Diseases. It was encouraging to see how much effort is being made to eliminate these preventable and treatable diseases that are still taking so many lives. Sooooo many commitments were made so now to watch the follow up! It was also so exciting to be able to introduce @chimamanda_adichie someone I’ve looked up to since reading Half of A Yellow Sun over 10 years ago! Proper fan girl moment 🥰😭 Thanks to my face beat fave @ivanmugemanyi for taking the first video for me from the green room! Lol #makmcs

class="content__text" Went full on Purple Patty yesterday as I moderated the gala dinner marking the end of the first day of the Commonwealth Women’s Forum 💜 #chogm2022 It was clearly a successful first day of panels and keynotes because that’s the Guest of Honour in the last slide, Madam Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Patricia Scotland leading the way to grace the dance floor to the undeniable VIBES of One Love ❤️💛💚💃🏾 We love to see it!
