class="content__text" Now that I’m done with the wedding planning portion of my trip down in Scottsdale, I’m spending the next week up at my aunt’s in the mountains…or the desert…or the mesa’s… I’m not really sure what to call it, but there’s like one grocery store, a couple stop lights, and a really pretty view of mountains that turn purple every night. I’ve been running away to this place since I was a kid. It was usually over a boy or two or ten, but this time it’s because my relationship with January has gotten ROUGH. Coming out here has always helped me center myself. Maybe being around mountains makes me feel small in a good way…The same way being in the helicopter forces me to zoom out and look at a bigger picture. Or maybe just being anywhere that doesn’t really have a winter is better for my head. Or maybe I should just go back to therapy and stop trying to work out my depression or whatever this is, in an Instagram caption. Any way, even if it’s a temporary fix, it’s nice to have a place to run to & if you need one, I hope you have one too. Over the years, I’m often told that the reason a lot of you follow me is because my photos are a place you can run to when you’re feeling the way I am. And it’s an honor to be that for anyone, because I know how important it can be. Only 45 more days until Spring. ☀️💕

class="content__text" I love my job bc it’s 3pm on a Tuesday & I’m running out of the studio to go catch the sunset on Long Beach Island then spend the night @hotellbi … which was a plan i came up with 30 minutes ago when Paul looked bored. Just wanted to say thank you for allowing me the privilege to live the kind of life a lot of people don’t even realize can be possible. I’m a very spontaneous person who has absolutely zero capability or desire to stick to literally any version of a schedule, and I’m thankful every day that I don’t have to. OH! And on that note… if you want to get an order in for Valentines Day delivery, PLEASE place those before Monday. Because on Tuesday I’m leaving for Arizona and won’t be back until like the 10th probably. XO!

This was one of my favorite shows of the year last winter. I can’t think of a better place to spend a chilly afternoon than surrounded by plants with some of my fav vendors! Hope to see ya there!
