class="content__text" Body in Space — Zagreb ❤️‍🔥 Costume design: @s_una Dancer: @lucija_romanova 💃🏻 Dance has been my passion ever since I remember. It is one of the dearest aspects of my work. Dance completely engages my body and emotions and forces me to interact with the space around me. Space holds memories, provides for our imagination to grow, and allows us to daydream. The photo series "Body in Space — Zagreb" explores the connection between dance and architecture. It captures the movement, energy, emotions, and my personal journey through iconic architectural locations in Zagreb. Architecture and dance share the same language of shape and form. Movement creates space and manifests the experience of spatial qualities through different locations. The project aims to go beyond dance as a form of physical activity but also as a form of self-expression and self-exploration, my personal therapy, and my diary.

class="content__text" In 2014, I met Nikita @nikita.gacinovic for the first time in Belgrade at the Ballet Hall. He was a five year old kid with a strong dance attitude. Nikita is now in his second year at the Academy of dance and university Mannheim, a scholarship holder of the Sergei Polunin foundation. He also completed Summer school at the Paris Opera Ballet School. ❤️‍🔥 We both share the same passion and love for dance. It's just that he's on stage, and I'm always behind the stage. The main goal of these photographs is to capture and show street fashion through images of everyday people. We consume fashion through magazines, images of models, films, pop culture, and music videos, but the main consumers of this powerful business are the everyday people we see on the streets around the world. They create fashion and they develop their own style. I approached people on the streets of New York City and asked them to pose for me just as professional models would, but for five minutes only. In those five minutes, I tried to capture their movement, their style, their choice of colors and combinations, and the essence of what fashion means to each and every one of them. This photo series aims to show how members of different classes in America react to fashion trends and create their own sense of self in visual terms.
