class="content__text" From artwork to garment 🪡 For the last four seasons we've collaborated with artist @MelissaKittyJ on artworks reflecting stories, inspirations and messages held by our community. The Hands That Heal Us celebrates the many creatives, contributors and hands that make the collections we produce. The Our Team print, stems from an artwork by Melissa – inspired by the many hands the touch each garment through our social and local supply chain. We worked with an embroidery specialist at @costellostudio to create an embroidery design, inspired by the artwork. From an initial digital embroidery plan, to sampling on the machine. The embroidery was then produced onto garments by @bow_sewingcentre . –– #BethanyWilliams

Inspired by childhood memories of school book bags this style was developed originally as part of our SS21 collection All Our Children and has become a season-less staple. Utilising the book cover waste of Children's classics, the fabric that wraps each bag is woven by San Patrignano using book waste from the British publishing industry.
