Homemade tostadas but first check out our veg garden. 👀 We are burbing so hard right now HAHA. We started it earlier this year and it makes it so much easier to incorporate veggies and fresh herbs into our meals. We are also using @JUSTegg Folded plant-based eggs for our tostadas today. When you squeeze and they squeeze back tighter. Ugh! 🥰 We’ve spent so much time together in lockdown it’s going to be so weird sending them off to school in a few weeks. I don’t want to! I’ve never had them in childcare and it’s lil man Z’s first year starting school. He’s never been away from us but he seems excited… he’ll be ok. Me on the other hand, I’m a mess just thinking about it. Hopefully all the free time will cheer me up because what’s it even like? Free time? Is that a thing? I’m not familiar with it. Finding our way back to us. Just us. Guys Daddy and I have decided to start dating again. I’ve spent most of our marriage pregnant or nursing. Flat hair? Don’t tease y’all! This is a technique I’ve been doing for years and it works like a charm. Teasing your hair can cause serious breakage, split ends and it roughens your cuticle layer (the outer layer of your hair) making your hair dull with no shine. Tie little pony tails in the areas you want the most volume. You can thank me later. ☺️ #STYLEONTHEM

A little pink visual of how fast this all flies by. Swipe for the #throwbacks The other day I was chatting with Lils about the concept of following your heart and listening to your intuition. You know, the little voice inside your head. The one in my head is constantly battling my balance of working full time, trying to keep up with friends and family, the house, cooking, cleaning, gardening, hobbies, physical and mental self care. All of it. As rewarding as this balancing act is, something always has to give. Sometimes it’s work, sometimes it’s the house, sometimes it’s takeout 5x in a week. 🤷🏽‍♀️ There are no rules in this. My balance for all these aspects is on a different wave almost daily. I have my mandatory tasks and then the little voice takes over and I let it lead the way. Sometimes it leads me to a girls night out, sometimes it leads me to the couch for 4 hours. Most days it leads me on the floor rolling around with Ken and the kids. Lils said her heart told her not to eat her breakfast and to eat the cupcakes on the counter. 🙄 I’ve met my match with that one.

It's been 2 years since I've gone natural and I never realized how many grey hairs I have..! HAHA. 👀  It's so healthy I just can't get back into dying it and heat styling it like I use to. When I do heat style it, one of the tools I've been sticking with is the Loreal Pro Steampod 3.0. It's 78% less damaging than the traditional flat iron. It leaves my strands plump instead of crushing them flat.
