So we did this shoot for "Yaad Magazine" down in Coronation Market, Downtown, Kingston. And let me tell you about the joy I felt!

Slide 1. There were a group of kids who followed me to every location in the market, and waited for me while I changed in a stall.
This little girl is who started the movement and she held my hand to and from every location. Hugged on my leg every time I finished a shot. L O V E ! We spoke about what she wanted to be when she grew up. Look at her! Look at the future in her eyes!!🥰

Slide 2. I stood in the watermelon patch and my people "boots" mi up!! You know "gassing"?! As mi buss two moves or 2 pose...is dem dat a rail up!! You know what name sweet me?! I love us for real!

Slide 3. This handsome young man. Watched from afar. Followed the group from a distance. When the shoot was done we had the best likkle reasoning about what he wanted his life to look like and how important an education was. He had a quiet composure that will make him a great leader!

Slide 4. In front of Miss Hopie's (the lady a few posts back with the headscarf) stall; the sweetest lady who sells pineapples. She even plugged in her fan to give me likkle breeze! (IYKYK "how come" this is a big deal!) I came out the stall from changing and was met by every fabric complement known to Jamaican Vernacular. "Yendi yuh a real autical bc gyal....you is a real goodaz to pc...look pon how goodie clean and nice". So mi buss a "Raaaaaeeeee" and the crowd say rrraaaaaeeeee!!! Hahahaha!!!

I LOVE US FOR REAL!!!!! When JAMAICANS love and support you is a different level of LOVE!!!

WE are so much stronger together! WE are such a special people! Being #Jamaican is one of OUR SUPER POWERS!!!
