Today Monday, 17th January 2022, I’d like to pay tribute to Zambian music living legend, Sir Moses Sakala. ‘The Sakala brothers’ is a legendary African music duo born & bred in Zambia & it comprised of the late great Levy Sakala and Moses Sakala, who started off as classmates with a mutual passion for music! As a duo, The Sakala Brothers went on to perform on the 5 most inhabited continents of our planet, at festivals in Brazil, China, Canada, India, the Netherlands, Poland, South Korea and Zimbabwe. They placed high value on the celebration and preservation of cultural art forms, representing Africa and Zambia in its most beautiful authenticity! Moses Sakala has composed, recorded, produced and performed generation-defining songs. I am a fan and he has always been on top of the list of my all time favorites in the world as an individual artiste as well as the half of legendary duo, The Sakala brothers.
