class="content__text" Zabimaru! HE IS DONE! The paint job was a real challenge but I’m really happy how it turned out! I first applied 2 layers of wood glue to the outside to make it sturdy and to harden the pointy blades! After that I applied 3 layers of flexbond on the inner parts with a small brush to keep those parts flexible and to prime it so the paint would attach and not chip. After that I taped the inner parts and applied Plastidip to the outer parts. After few layers I removed the tape (this was the scariest part because I was scared that I would pull of the Plastidip and that the system wouldn’t work anymore). Luckily it all worked! I then started airbrushing the whole sword! I added a small reddish shadow because before Renji activates his shikai or Bankai it glows red! I sealed it with a soft gloss varnish! Materials: EVA foam (2mm, 5mm and 10mm). Sintra (2mm, 5mm, 10mm), rod and ribbon for the handle.
