Born in Tennessee, Neville grew up playing sports, but once he hit college to study biochemistry, he quickly began to dip his toes into acting, where he realized that it was a form of self expression that he never experienced before — and quite different from the hyper masculine world that came with sports. In previous roles with projects like “American Horror Story” and “Ozark,” he had his biggest year yet in 2022 with “Devotion” and “The Sex Lives of College Girls.” Oozing with personality and excitement for what’s to come on his fiery trajectory, Neville meets with ODDA to discuss making the pivot into acting, what he learned from Glen Powell and Mindy Kaling, and his personal style. “There’s such a performative aspect to sports.
