class="content__text" Last month I was granted an opportunity to tour the Whitney Plantation in Wallace, La. Myself along with several other artist were invited by StudioBE and Eternal Seeds. The experience was nothing short of breathtaking! For those who may not know, Whitney Plantation is the only plantation in America dedicated specifically to the slaves, and is the sight of the biggest slave revolt in American history! We ended the day playing drums in Congo Square before having brunch with founding members of the Black Panther Party’s New Orleans Chapter at the African American Museum.
