class="content__text" The thought of saying goodbye to Andy has occupied my mind for quite some time now. Despite avoiding this conversation, it is time to deal with the reality. Over the past couple of months, I have witnessed Andy's decline, becoming increasingly sicker by the day. It has been heartbreaking to watch this strong independent dog become so frail and vulnerable. It has been one of my most rewarding experiences to witness this timid puppy gradually transform into such a loving pup despite enduring so much abuse in his early years prior to adoption. As a result of constant training sessions, agility workshops, and socialization, Andy emerged as a new puppy, moving passed his trauma.  A couple of years back, @__jesschen__ tattooed a photo of Andy on my arm. The tattoo was originally meant as an ode to an animal I loved so dearly, but it has taken on an entirely new significance as a tribute, keeping Andy close to me at all times.  Andy passed away at home with his head in my lap, surrounded by those that love him. While his passing will not be easy for me to bear, I will never forgot the memories we have made over his 12 years.
