Now I can make sure my peers are empowered to make the decisions that are right for them and feel supported.” Our Associate Director of Communications, Mary Pavlu, recently had the pleasure of shadowing Margaret Shisia, one of the 70 Tiko mobilizers in Mombasa who are empowering the youth in their community. Thanks to mobilizers like Margaret, over 17,000 young people in Mombasa County were enrolled onto the Triggerise health platform in 2022, giving them greater access to sexual and reproductive health information and care.
