class="content__text" On Halloween 2022 our star Nico Dino was born. Same date as his uncle Carlo’s bday. I had planned, meditated and studied for a natural birth. I wanted to feel everything even though parts of it were scary and foreign to me. I’m a naturalist, I have a high pain threshold and it was what I wanted for him and I. At full term he was large, long and wedged under my rib cage with his head next to my heart. So I opted for an elective C section with the guidance from my medical team and family. Nico was brought into this world with his bum in the air with such precision, care and efficiency, through the sun roof by the most incredible team of surgeons and midwifes at king Edward Perth hospital and my partner and I could not be happier. It was the most peaceful, stress free environment for all of us. I fed as soon as he came out, I took paracetamol for a day, was walking around after 6 hours and was out of hospital in 30 hrs. I put my fast healing down to my great health all year pregnant and my remarkable partner who guided and nurtured him and I through this massive transition. He has an intense stare a calm nature, a kind smile and we are all in love with this miracle little Prince. Hopelessly devoted and completely complete to my 🌞 I hope my story inspires other families in the same position in any way.
