Suicide Prevention Month ; Your story isn’t over.

A recurring feeling that I’m no stranger to, wanting a way out because you can’t seem to see no other way - I KNOW.

Being exhausted of existing to the point that it physically hurts, anxiety attacks, headaches, restless nights of no sleep - I KNOW.

Feeling alone, can’t find the words and though you want to express it you don’t want to come off as always negative, always sad, don’t want to change the mood, “a burden” to others - I KNOW.

Tired of constantly feeling like you can’t do anything right, you convince yourself of reasons why friends and family are better off without you and you disassociate and shut down - I KNOW.

After deep thought and even failed attempts you realize; it’s not that you want to die, you just want your life as you know it currently to end, sadly some don’t get to this point - I DID.

Therapy, creating and lots of praying (and by praying I mean shouting, screaming and crying daily for sight of purpose) have been the three active things that’s been saving my life.

I know how hard it may be to escape negative intrusive thoughts on most days, I still battle every single day but I see you and you’re not alone. If you needed a sign to hold on, please let this be it.

You don’t have to have it completely figured out right now, God knows I don’t but take it one step at a time. There’s nothing wrong with getting professional help, speaking up isn’t attention seeking and it never will be. Speaking to friends may be as hard for you as it is for me so Invest in yourself with a therapist not for anyone else but for you.

Self grace may not be the easiest thing, especially when you don’t feel as if you deserve it but you do. - I know you can’t see it right now but there’s people out there who love you even on the days you mess up. You are enough, please take care of you and love those a little harder who may need it.

It’s not easy but your story isn’t over just yet, take it easy on yourself - I love you. (I love you also chav🖤)
