class="content__text" I am very happy and honored to announce that Black Lips are now part of the fashion and textile national collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs de Paris. I created Black Lips for my SS10 Collection « Girls of Paradise », along her sister Blonde Lips. The piece represents an ode to sensuality and beauty, as I mixed together two parts of the body that carry in our imagination the strongest power of seduction : pulpy lips and luscious hair. Since it’s creation, Black Lips was featured in cultural events, and worn by incredible female artists : Lady Gaga, in her Monster Ball interlude video « Edward Scissorhands », directed by Nick Knight. (©2009) Rossy De Palma, in her recital « Resilienza d’Amore » at the Theater Espagnol in Madrid. (©2015) I am now very proud to see them be part of the collections of the prestigious institution that is the MAD in Paris. With a very special thank you to Denis Bruna and his team for presenting my work to the museum’s committee.
