class="content__text" 9 MONTHS!! 😳 It takes a special kind of talent to drag a project like this out for 9 months! I stripped the top of this table in September, and then promptly put a shower curtain and tablecloth over it and never touched it again until February. 🤷‍♀️ In Feb., I decided I would never tackle the legs myself so I paid someone $160 to strip all the black paint. Money well spent?! I don’t know and I don’t even care at this point. 🤣 If you haven’t been following my table saga, you can find the backstory in my highlights. But today I’m calling it done. It’s not exactly what I wanted but it’s close enough and it’s better than it was. The table really was in bad shape and the top was in desperate need of refinishing. I was hoping it wouldn’t have quite as much black tint left behind (see final slide for proof), but I’m over the whole thing. We’re happy to have our table back, I’m thankful for ALL the advice I was given and I hope I never have to refinish another table with so many curves! 🤦‍♀️ Now tell me about all your projects that haven’t gone as planned so I can console myself! 😜
